I got back from my first engagement party in Owensboro, KY last night and my fiance notified me that we have less than 90 days until our wedding (just kidding babe – I knew…). I am pumped.
This means I have 90 days to figure out what I’m going to do, where I’m going to live, how I’m going to graduate, how I’m going to keep my fraternity brothers in line at my wedding, plan the rest of the wedding details, and get in shape – so sweet.
On the drive back from Owensboro my dad was reading some old health class text book that was sitting underneath the back seat of my car for at least a couple of months now and said, “Hey Ronnie – guess what dude – you should be at the maximum stress level right now according to this book.” And then went ahead and listed what those stress indicators were: lifestyle changes, college, sleep deprivation, etc. I love you dad.
Two cool things: 1) I have not felt this free – ironic that it’s coming at a time when I am supposed to feel the most stress. 2) God has spoken pretty clearly to where I am supposed to be after Ashley and I get married.

Ashley and I had originally decided we were going to Austin – we love that town for a ton a reasons, one being because it encourages such a healthy lifestyle in a ton of different ways for us.
God told me we need to go to El Paso…
The crazy thing – I am so excited to just be given an opportunity to follow God’s guidance over my own. El Paso…here we come (barring God changing it up on us again!)
What have you been set on doing and then not do it? Was it because your heart wasn’t agreeing? God was telling you something else? You got lazy? (I’ve answered yes to all)
I was a junior in high school when I just “KNEW” I was going to attend SMU after I graduated from high school. Well, senior year came around and I got into music. Things changed. I changed. My mom informed me one day about Belmont University. A “christian music school,” she called it. I will agree that it is, but not only is it this. And at the time, I was a hard-headed teenager and did not want to go to a “christian music school.” I wanted to rock, I wanted to roll! (As if christians couldn’t.) As time passed, my padlocked mind peaked out and saw light. I applied, was accepted and am now a 2nd semester sophomore having the greatest time of my life. And yes, I am still rocking and rolling, loving God.
i knew i was going to be a great pointgaurd for some college that needed someone with an awesome jump shot and a 90% free throw ability. no takers, they cut me in high school, said i was a short white guy who was slow and didnt have a chance. i took up golf, sorry NBA.
Clay said that. He is on my reply box. I wanted to be a lawyer until I flunked my first class ever on”Judicial Jargon.” God had a better plan. I love being the mom of 4 awesome sons!!!!!!!!!
