Ashley headed off to Florida yesterday for a nice little 10 day vacation with her parents … I am sitting in Management Science of Spreadsheets and the high tomorrow is 28.
Good news – I get Chloe (our puppy) for these 10 days woohoo! I know Ashley is dying already and it hasn’t even been 24 hours, but I am committed to giving her updates on lessons learned from Chloe on this blog.
Last night before we went to sleep, I walked Chloe outside for 15 minutes to no tinkling – we went back inside. I went upstairs, was brushing my teeth and looked over my shoulder to see her just standing and staring at me. I asked her what’s up chlo and sure enough she popped a squat staring right into my eyes. I just kept brushing my teeth cracking up with toothpaste going all over my face. I love her.
Lesson #1: patience with puppies makes the interaction so enjoyable so just laugh.
Here’s us this morning wondering where the heck mommy is…
