Life Phases

I am about to finish “Mod 3,” which means I am about to begin the final lap of my Owen School of Business race.

At the end of that lap, I am getting married.

After my wedding, I am moving to El Paso.

After I move, I am starting the next phase of my life – work+my family.

Remember a couple of weeks ago I wrote about how I was feeling pretty irritable?

It’s gone! (or at least MUCH less irritable)

I still am “re-training” my mind so it definitely still peaks its busted head, but I feel like I’m relaxing in a canoe down a peaceful stream rather than paddling up a level 4 rapid in a white water raft.

In the past, when I have transitioned phases I have felt bad about not doing something while I was there…(like every summer wishing I had spent more time on the lake)…

The one thing I have on that list right now is to record a 6-track album with my brother.

I’ll be keeping myself accountable via this blog and your accountability will help my future regrets as well – so keep reminding me!

Any advice on how to wrap up a phase of your life?

What phases are you exiting/entering?

Do you start planning for the next phase or just focus on the end of this phase?
