So after getting a couple comments regarding the format of my blog, I decided to switch it up maybe temporarily, maybe for good.
I thought the other one was too dark.
Writing was too small (especially in the comment section).
But really liked the simplicity and color scheme (just a little lighter) of it.
I like the readability of this one better and the way that hyperlinks light up in blue-now you can see them better.
I am giving this one a run … let me know if you like it better, worse, or indifferent.
But speaking of change – I got an e-mail from twitter a couple of days ago that almost put me on the floor in laughter.
My father who does not even own a cell phone is now following me on Twitter!
One small step for a bofe unit, one giant step towards transparent freedom.
Change is cool.
This format or the old one?
What are you in the process of changing?
formats ought to be changed as often as possible to stimulate our senses, you ought to leave it the same so people are comfortable with you site. ok.
@clay so…does that mean leave it or change it back?
i like change, “same ol” leads to complacency. we need to stimulate our minds as much as we can, change it up occasionally. make us wonder and work.
I just finished listening to a sermon called Uncertainty by mac. I love to listen to his sermons while I do my chores. 2008-2009 has been a huge year for change in our family. But what is constant and gives me strength to weather the good and bad changes is God. Last year I gave up bread for lent….it was horrible….I LOVE bread. But this year I am giving up worring. It will be a daily thing, because I am so very good at it. But I know that I need to daily turn over my life, problems and fears to the Lord because He is so capable of handling all of it. Romans 8:28 For God works for the good of those who love him and live according to his purposes-a little paraphrased from memory. I am so thankful today because I will soon have a wonderful new son-in-law and can watch what God is going to do in the lives of my precious daughter and her wonderful new husband. God is good! Awesome Change!
Amen to that Marla, and grandchildren! Romans 8:28, love it, the key in that phrase to me is “HIs purpose”, which i sometimes get confused with mine. Thanks for the great reminder. God is SOOOO good!
@marla i love your spirit, guidance, and love … it is matched by few – i thank God for you daily and will be praying for your non-worrying!
@clay i can’t wait for children either, but promised Marla I’d wait at least 6 weeks
