As many of you know, I had my hard drive crash a couple of weeks ago.
I took it to the apple store – they don’t do data recovery.
I took it to macauthority – they do (or at least try).
The apple store recommended this place in ATL that could do it for $850 … I would just get a new comp.
Macauthority did all that they could, but couldn’t recover any data.
Gone – all gone.
All of my work over the past 4 years at SMU & Vanderbilt – gone.
Pictures – gone.
2,000+ Songs: written, recorded, and downloaded – gone.
All of this got me really thinking “wow, I should have backed that data up one of the fifty times people (or my comp) recommended it.”
More importantly though, it gave me a fresh perspective about how temporary this life is…
GONE.
Use an eternal perspective today.
With this … tomorrow’s questions – are you who you want to be?
What do you need to gain this “temporary-ness” perspective on in your life right now?
